WE DO CABINET REFINISHING RIGHT. ALWAYS.
We won't rush through the painting process. In fact, we take our time, making sure you get a perfectly finished product you will be proud of.
We operate on a 7-10 business day schedule and our in our clients home 3-4 days (one day to tear down and prep, one-two days to spray, and one day to install).

TEAR DOWN
We will label, remove, and transport the doors and drawers back to the workshop for cleaning and sanding. (1-2 hours on average)

PREP, SANDING & MASKING
The floor, counter top, and appliances will all be masked for protection. The cabinet boxes will be thoroughly cleaned with a degreaser, rinsed and sanded. All the boxes will be masked and ready to be sprayed. (1 day on average)

SPRAYING
Our spray crew will secure the kitchen area and set up a spray booth. We do our best to be as non-invasive as possible. We use several fans to speed up dry time. The cabinet boxes will be primed, sanded, and coated. Our primer can be a bit strong, but with the use of our exhaust the smell dissipates by the time we leave for the day. If you’re sensitive to smells, you may want to be out of the home for the day. Once the boxes are finished, we will tear down and your kitchen will be fully usable and you will just be awaiting the doors. (1 day on average)

DOOR & DRAWERS
The doors and drawers will be prepped, scuff sanded, primed, sanded, and coated in our workshop. If the substrate is open grain,we will apply two coats of primer to prevent bleed and fill the pores in the grain, sanding in between each coat. If the substrate is closed grain, one coat of primer will be applied and sanded. (7 days on average)

INSTALLATION
Our installation crew will carefully package up all the doors in foam pouches and transport to the customers home. We will unload all the doors and drawers, install, touch-up and make sure all the doors and drawers are level and to the customers satisfaction before the job is complete. (5-6 hours on-site average)

Pricing
Cabinet painting prices are based on the number of cabinets you have as well as the size of your room. All cabinet pricing is done on a per-piece basis.

- 1 extra-large door – 2 pieces
- Per-Piece pricing ranges between $145-155
- Unfinished (Raw) wood pricing ranges from $145-155

5 Year Warranty on Kitchen Cabinet Refinishing
At Armor Tough Coatings we pride ourselves in our high quality craftsmanship and painting services, and we want your newly finished cabinets to stay looking as fresh and clean as possible, for as long as possible. Which is why we use premium grade Ben Moore Advanced paint, and give you a 5 Year Warranty on all of our kitchen cabinet refinishing projects. If your paint cracks, chips or peels (not caused by force), we will come back to repair the damage at no charge to you for a full 5 years. We even include yearly touch-ups*, so your cabinets keep that new finish.
*Touch-up Details: Armor Tough Coatings will perform up to an hour of touch-up painting in your home once a year, for 5 years, for as long as you live in your home. This includes all surfaces that we have painted.
